Slieve Bloom Walking Festival May Bank Holiday Weekend

The Slieve Bloom Walking Club organise a Programme of Walks on most Sundays all year round, with local guides to enable you to get the most enjoyment from the outdoors and to benefit from their local knowledge of the terrain and of the Flora and Fauna encountered along the way.
WALKERS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Registration takes place prior to the start of each walk: €8 per person per walk or yearly membership of €20 per person.
- Dogs are not allowed
- Walkers participate at their own risk
- Strong waterproof footwear and protective outdoor clothing is advisable. Runners not suitable.
- Grade A and B walks are only for walkers who walk on a regular basis and have a reasonable level of fitness, are properly equipped and have sufficient food and drink to sustain themselves.
- Grade C walks are easier than grade A and B and do not reach the same heights in the mountains.
- A and B walks are in remote and wilderness areas of the Slieve Blooms, are only accessible on foot and are rarely frequented by hill walkers

- A variety of Looped walks at Glenbarrow near Rosenallis, Clonaslee, Cadamstown, Kinnitty,
- Eco Walks at Glenbarrow, Cadamstown, Knockbarron, Glenafelly and Gurteenamile.
- Wild Life, Wheelchair accessable and Heritage walks at Lough Boora Parklands just 10k from the Slieve Blooms Lough Boora Parklands Wheelchair Accessable Walks
Local guides will enable you to get the most enjoyment and benefit from their knowledge of the Terrain and of the Flora and Fauna encountered along the way.
All the organised walks are graded from D Easy to A for the more regular walker.
