There are a number of Riding Centres in the area, which offer trail riding and trekking on the farm, bogland, forest and Slieve Bloom Mountains.

Birr Equesrtian Centre is located on the outskirts of Birr, about 12km from Kinnitty. There are many trail riding and trekking options on the 140 acres farm or in the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Programmes of any duration can be tailored to group and individual needs.
